Design Physics

Why do objects fly in the air, or roll off to who knows where?

Be a budding builder!
Roller coasters, rolling cars, flying spaceships! Builders make awesome things that make the world go round. In this studio, budding builders learn about the fascinating world of physics through games, hands-on activities, and a fun trip to the park.

Huff, puff, and laugh! Push-and-pull Mister Box to explore Newton’s laws of motion in a team. Ready? Steady? Go! Design a golf course and influence how objects speed up or slowww dowwwn. Tinker with everyday tools to build simple machines. Use these new concepts to come up with physics-inspired products to sell at the summer marketplace… something truly mass-merizing!

Learning that lasts a lifetime
While you learn about the physical laws of the world, you might experience some non-physical laws that are just as exciting. Like, why, for more effort, does Mister Box seem to trail behind the single-push rolling ball? While making new friends, pick up skills like teamwork, observation, strategy, leadership, and improvisation. After all, they’re some of the greatest tools you can invent the future with.
